Strange, yes... but the really strange thing is that I created the account maybe a month ago and haven't done a thing with it. Then today I got an email saying some chick is now "following me", so I clicked the provided link and got the message that my account was killed.

Is leaving your account idle considered "strange activity" by the twits at twitter?

Very strange Iv got 2 accounts one with 1392 folowers and the other with over 700 followers. One of them I hadent loged into it for 3 weeks or so until today

They killed two of my blog farm accounts. Here's what you need to do.

Ease up on following. Focus on publishing updates first.
Start following but slowly. Send out a lot of @ responses, you have to look like you're participating. Update some more then start following a lot, make sure to vary it from day to day though

the day is not far off where people will be ashamed to admit they have a twitter account

I'm using twitter since February 2007, its my only twitter account and I never had problems with it.. Even with the fact that I was idling for few months..

Maybe the problem is too fast expansion of this simple piece of shit. They have to deal with lots of idiots, so mistakes are there too :)

i got https://twitter.com/porngov suspended a while ago. i logged in and it said something like 'youve been suspended. please click here to find out how to get it back again' and i just had to agree to not @mention too many people, hit submit and it was back. think it was because i @mentioned too many people i wasn't following or were not following me. twitter are pretty relaxed about unsuspending accounts it seems.
