im just sitting here watching mtv cribs, and i realize, most of these motherfuckers have absolutely no taste at all! not only that, this one guy, has a bidet in his bathroom, and he thinks its another toilet!!! how can someone be so ignorant with all that money, and still no taste. *sigh* heheh just my thoughts.

In my bathroom the bidet often gets used as a toilet but then I dont fill the place with people who spend time worrying about taste, just people who like to have a good time.

If you want seriuosly good taste for no cash, get a few queens to decorate your pad, in time at all, probably wth almost the same shit you got and a few odds and ends, you can turn the so so into ultra fabu

For real, if you want to have a super funky pad, check this book out from Chronicle books called "pad"....thats the decorating bible for all that need something a little freakier than the norm.

Thinking a bidet is a toilet has nothing to do with taste, its to do with lack of brains. The guy is just plain stupid.

then again, isnt taste realtive? there are many people who find gold and black laquer furniture and paintings of panthers on velvet attractive, while others think martha stewarts tastes are the ultiamate indulgance.

personally, i would love for her to decorate my house. i think her color schemes are beautiful and simple. on the other hand, modern glass and metal designs are extremely attractive as well, when done right.

Come on now Caroline, I know you'd love to have that black lacquer, fur everything and all your gold records or trophies displayed prominently in the house, while your bling bling escalade and da bentley were in the drive ;)

I'd venture to say that most talented artists probably have a good feel for crafting their persona musically and visually -- and if they are about investing that money into their visual environment, then congrats to them... You've got to assume that a guy like "Prince" would have a cool pad... That's one thing that I enjoyed about living in Venice, LA -- wealthy eccentric people that pushed the boundries of "taste"...

I think now in the USA the wealthy tend to cloak themselves with conservative design... words like "understated" and "refined" come to mind... For the most part, the "wealthy" try to impress without being extravagant. These people don't need to or want to be targets for attention unless they are in the entertainment industry...

I'd love to see Jack Nicolson's pad...
