Clipstore vs Membership Site

Hi,

I've been contemplating on this for a while now. Would like to hear some of your thoughts on this. I want to start a new site with my girlfriend. I already have a membership based site devoted to femdom. Am kinda tired of working with models and want to start something more reality based. I was thinking of starting a clipstore, instead of a site, thinking that people are more into buying clips these days. Then I went back to planning a site. Now I'm thinking clips again. Shit.... Can someone give me any thoughts on this? What do people prefer more these days - clipstores or member sites? Does anyone have any experience with clips (not clips4sale, but your very own stores)?

Thanks,

Josh.

why not do both and you run your content through multiple revenue streams

Do both....Offer the paysite as a full course menu and the clip store as the a la carte menu...

My main site is www.blackvaginafinder.com

My clip store is http://www.clips4sale.com/store/24658 which is extra money with no extra work.

Do both and make sure to get a producer account with Rude.com

Here's a link to a post I did yesterday explaining what we're all about.

I forgot to mention that you as a producer can sell your exclusive content there as well!l

Drop me a line so I can hook you up and show you around!

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll do both. I thought that clips were preferred to memberships these days, judging by the clips4sale success. But they have a membership site option now and it seems that that's what everyone is turning to there. Guess memberships are still the way to go.

Do both.

However, maximizing your money on a clip store is a science. You do not just throw up a store and expect to make a ton of extra money for nothing. It doesn't work that way.

I have a tutorial in sig. In has my thoughts and experiences, but more importantly, feedback from others as well. Enjoy the read.
