Allow me to be the first to say...

That Guns N' Roses KICKED FUCKING ASS!!!

Yes it's true.....Axl sang, danced, ran around like a mofo!!

They played tonight(last night) in Toronto, and it fucking ROCKED!!

I am truly shocked after that last performance on MTV, but this seriously was an excellent show!!

If you like the band and are a little leary of seeing them live, don't be, IT FUCKING ROCKED!!!!:thumbsup

Although, you must be prepared, as all the MULLETS come out of hiding! LOL

JackFoley 11-30-2002 02:14 AM

No one's as good as the GFY band. :GFYBand

eru 11-30-2002 02:17 AM

Did they have Slash or Buckethead?

Guns'n'Roses does kick ass. Fantastic band that had their hayday over 10 years ago yet making a nice comeback now.

I'd kill to hear November Rain and Sweet Child o' Mine live.

sherie 11-30-2002 02:17 AM

but can they do it live?

No Slash, he hasn't been there for years, but the almighty Buckethead was there, and I finally found out what it says on the bucket besides KFC, at the bottom it says "funeral" LMAO, Buckethead kicked ass!!

And yes, the last time I seen them was well over 10 years ago...and truthfully it was well worth waiting for!!

November Rain rocked as did Sweet Child O mine!! It was all good I have no complaints, except that they were over an hour late...but that's nothing compared to the stupid chic's flashing their tit's....as there were kids there. I remember back in the day women getting tossed out of the concert for flashing...but oh well...they KICKED!!:thumbsup

I used to love them when they first came out , now they are yesterdays news! But glad to see you had a great time, thats what counts !

KRL 11-30-2002 12:18 PM

Yeh, saw them live at the MTV awards years back when they were just getting known. I didn't even know who they were at the time and these two girls sitting next to us were practically cumming in their pants when they came on stage.

Pipecrew 11-30-2002 02:20 PM

I was watching on tv lastnight, all the rioters from the concert where GnR didnt show up hahah.... The cops were fucking them up sooooooo bad! I swear i saw a guy take three billy club hits in the face, fire extinguisher like bottles of mace just spraying people in the face

Yes JFK they are rather old news, that's why I went, the last time I seen them I was like 18, brought back some good memories.

Pipecrew, that was in Vancouver, I seen some guy get his teeth knocked out by one of those cops...not a pretty site!

Sappy 11-30-2002 03:32 PM

Is Brian Mantia still drumming for them?

cherrylula 11-30-2002 04:46 PM

all of the other guys from guns n roses, except axl, are in the studio right now recording a brand new badass album with a new kickass singer.

axl owns the "guns n roses" name so he can use whoever he wants for the rest of the band. lamer.

I'm sure someone has said this before. Sorry... you weren't the first.

SleazyDream 12-01-2002 12:44 AM

just think - your grandchildren will call G&R tunes elevator music.

Bobo 12-01-2002 01:35 AM

Super!....just downloaded 'Patience' from Kazaa. Fuck, what a beautiful tune. Ahhhh when GnR was at their pinnacle.

NoCarrier 12-01-2002 02:35 AM

That band should've stayed dead when they died at the beginning of the 90's.

pimpdust 12-01-2002 09:32 AM

I was lucky enough to see GnR for the first time right around the time Appetite came out. They played a tiny shit-hole club called The Livingroom in Providence RI. it was an amazing show in front of no more than 150 people. I don't think the magnitude of seeing them in such a small venue really hit me til a few years later playing a 60,000 seat football stadium.

I'm glad to hear they still put on a great show, but I think I'll stick to my happy memories of seeing the original band with Slash and Izzy. :thumbsup
