question for guys who are dating affiliates
 

My way of promoting dating sites is to put on a side of my blogs in a separate widget a dating ad.
Now my question for you out there is: do you think it's better to promote dating sponsors with banners of maybe with profile pictures?
What do you think about that?

GEO-IP Profile ad's in blog sidebars is pretty standard and works decent for me.

Yes, I also use on my blogs GEO-IP Profile ad's but I had some blogs with banners and had some OK results with them! So wanted to know some other experiences....

also working some ads into the blog copy helps. Good luck.

I never had much luck with banners and I have tried A LOT of them. The geo ads definitely do best in a situation where the traffic isn't exactly targeted (sidebar of an unrelated blog).

Considering all ads now consist of pornstars and overseas women who are fake and nothing that looks like a actual person from your area I don't push dating anymore
