Marketing can be amazing. ( NOT a business Thread )

We had to hit the local Wally Mart last night for a couple things, and right when we walked in there was a big display of Toys and cereal for Transformers. Well my son had not noticed the toys before but HAD to have a " TRANSMORNER " So needless to say and 29$ later we left the store with the yellow " Transmorner " " Burble bee "

Man kids are fun.

And in other news...I emptied my dishwasher and swept the floor in the garage this morning. :thumbsup

How old is your little man if you don't mind me asking ? Bumble bee is my sons favorite. Everytime we drive by a yellow mustang he has to say mom there goes a transformer haha. Kids are great.

as cute as it is it scares me how easily kids fall for marketing bs. they gotta have everything of whatever they are into. it doesn't seem healthy.

pornguy 06-16-2009 05:58 AM

He just turned 4 this month so all that kool marketing works on him.. The first thing that ever got him was the M and M sign that hamburgers.. ( McDonalds )

SK. BOUT TIME you clean that garage.

Jack Sparrow 06-16-2009 05:59 AM

LOl, i so love how kids hear things and then translate it into their own words.

I have a little nephew, who only speaks a bit dutch off course, 4 yrs old.
And everytime i see him he is rambling on about some english cartoons, its so funny.

Btw. not healthy?

Remember when we where kids? Didnt we want to have the newest coolest marbles in town as soon as the store had it?

Nothing changed, but the price of toys.

He still Calls Mc Donalds, Ma Donnas. and he has a few other things.. whats really funny is to listen to him mixing spanish and english words

My youngest is just now getting big enough not to fall for that marketing thing. They know if they have one or two things in the front, they will have 10 times that much in the back....... so $29 is the least of my worries, they find the WHOLE stash of shit now... lol

Jack Sparrow 06-16-2009 06:22 AM

Haha yes exactly what i meant.

But then with dutch and english mixed up :)
