Iran and Twitter

http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23iranelection http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/0..._n_215189.html http://twitter.com/Change_for_Iran I've always thought Twitter was dumb. Who cares if someone just woke up, I don't need to know that shit. But the last two days Twitter has really been huge in Iran. The real time reporting application of Twitter is pretty fucking amazing! Something is going down in Iran right now. I'm sure the Supreme Leader and President will get this shit under control with tanks and guns, but it's pretty awesome seeing people in Iran stand up for themselves! Sometimes I wonder if Americans would be brave enough anymore to do what these young Iranian kids are doing if the roles somehow got reversed? |
Like so cool! And then they turned off the electricity...

shame on the US for trying to start a civil war in order to oust a democratically elected leader and shame on you guys for supporting it
you can't just come out and say the election was flawed just because the one side won by too much...there hasn't been any word from anyone who has any evidence or anything but the US jumps in (obviously in support of Israel) along with the media in order to try to push them to civil war like they've done so many times in so many countries killing innocent people every single time kind of sad that the average american is a hard working person that believes in justice but the american government is such shit heads - are you guys really ready to believe the administration that says iran has nukes without any evidence? didn't that happen last time, and there wasn't any nukes. shit is just stupid! |
yeah twitter is cool for riots, demonstrations, disasters, uprisings, shit like that.

Remember Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was a key figure in 1979 when he and others took American hostages. But he is such a nice guy and good for his people...If they want him let them have him. Someone will take him with a bullet or a bomb...or maybe he could live in canada along with the other disloyal fucks that ran from America..

Only twits tweet on twitter...
Its true... Twit: 1. an insignificant or bothersome person. 2. Slang A foolishly annoying person. |
Got a couple of Iranian friends, and talking to them they claim that Ahmadinejad is less popular than even Bush was .. probably 80% of people cant stand him. Having him win by such a huge margin, even in Moussavi's home region, is seen as a giant slap in the face by many Iranians. From what I can gather the exit polls also show that Moussavi should have been a clear winner.
