cuban cigars
whats the best kind? had my first today some kind of cohiba, was really good but surely wasn't the most expensive in the humidor..
The best kind are the ones you enjoy the most. They make different types for different tastes.
Monte Cristo,Romeo and Julietta are very popular also

I like Cubans but nothing beats a good old king edward

I smoke them whenever I am in the Caribbean. There are cigars from the Dominican that are just as good or better. IMHO

I have a large humidor that stores up to 200 cigars.
Which Cohiba did you have? I like Cohiba Robustos the best. Esplendidos are a bit too large. I also like to keep my humidor at almost 70% humidity, then my Robustos feel soft and give most enjoyable puff. Monte Christo #4 are my second favorite. #4's are a little slimmer than Cohiba Robustos, but same length. I returned from Cuba on December and went with my girlfriend so we both brought 2 boxes of 25 each. I'm well stock until I go back next :) |
I have about 50 Cubans sitting in a humidor downstairs as well. Always nice to have some variety.
cuban cigars are over rated
i dont smoke anymore but my fav was cohiba... robustas was best then siglo3 or 2? can't even remember the different types anymore...
Cohiba Siglo IV's are one of my favorites.
My daily smoke is Partagas Series D #4 :thumbsup AS SEEN HERE http://www.jayscans.com/partagas.jpg |
I can buy cuban cigars legally here and I still import dominican and honduran :1orglaugh
It is best cigars
I got a real Cohiba from Cuba maybe 3 weeks ago.
It's been sitting on top of my fridge collecting dust. Is it useless now? Or can I spray a ziploc with fresh water, leave it in the bag for a bit, and rehydrate it ya think? I mean I know it's not optimal, but instead of throwing it out.... I do that with my weed all the time. |
this shit is realy hard.
Im not into the smoking so all of this Cuban cigarette look same to me
i want come Cubans
Make sure you don't get banana leaves when you buy Cubans from Cuba. Big scam they do.
Nicaraguan. I can recommend Perdomos.
Cubans are overrated. |
Now in my humidor I have H.Upmann, Trinidad, Monte Cristo and JOSE L. PIEDRA
You can't beat a tasty stogie and smooth scotch after "busting ones nut" :thumbsup oh yaaaz!
Mmmm, don't know anyone...
My favorite Cuban is the Monte Cristo #2...you have to make sure that you get them from a reputable dealer...there's alot of fakes out there. I just ordered a box last week and got'em in Friday. My favorite cigar, all around, is Arturo Fuente's Work of Art. I ordered 2 boxes of them last month right before the tax hike went into effect.
R&J is the very best. Had a box last time I went.
I kind of got turned off Cubans after smoking so many bad ones (and a few fakes) I do remember my first really good cigar, up a the cottage, it was a Romeo Y Julietta Churchill. That one will always stand out. These days, I prefer Honduran, because of the value for the money but anything good in a Robusto, and a maduro wrapper. I'm not brand loyal.
I am not a smoker, but I might make an exception for a good Cuban.
