Should be a nice feature. One of the reasons the VBB ignore feature sucks is that the trolls you want to ignore get quoted alot by the people they bait, and I end up having to see their posts anyways when they get quoted.
This plugin is a great solution for that. :thumbsup

Actually, I have 'ffvb' on highlight, really makes the threads and posts stand out. If you use ffvb just for the ignore, you really should consider the new highlighting options...
it highlights threads, posts, quotes and even keywords (in the image below, I have '3.8.2' set as a keyword)
