For all we know that owner made up that story and the dog ate HER stash. Who would leave their stash in the forest? Nobody. Sounds like a case of covering one's ass if I ever heard one. What if your dog vomitted up an automatic weapon? "Oh, goodness, he must have found that in the forest and eaten it! That's not mine!"
