'Portable' versions of software are warez?
 

so these portable versions of popular software I am reading are all hacked/cracked warez -why don't the software companies offer portable versions you can put on a compact drive and use wherever you go? it's a great idea.

It would be too easy to copy them then... but since it's getting copied anyway, what's the point of all the fancy copy protection? heh
