The dad was a Miniature Pomeranian and the mother was a Corgi-Jack Russel Terrier mix. All of the puppies seem to have taken after the dad. By her paw size and build the vet said he didn't think she would get much bigger.

I have never had or wanted a little dog, always had 70 - 90 pound big breeds and I am being so ridiculous about this pup. I had to laugh at myself today because I went into the drugstore and ended up showing the clerk a cell phone pic of her.

A 10 week old dog will about double their weight by 26 weeks and be full grown by 18 months. For instance, if she weighs 2 lbs now, she will weigh around 4 lbs at 26 weeks and 5 lbs at 18 months. The period of time between 26 weeks and 18 months is not so much bigger, but filling out, more muscular.

Height wise, they don't grow much in height after 9 months. Mind you, I am talking little dogs, not the larger breed dogs. Crosses are hard because they come from different backgrounds, more genes in the pool and you can get a really small dog, or a small dog that gets a big growth spurt.

I love little dogs. After having one in my teens that is all I like. Big dogs are cool, but they are so much more to take care of.

I have two miniature pinschers, their breed often lives far into their teens too which is cool. There are lots of 18 year olds out there.

Your little pom mix is a cutie! They have such bubbly personalities those doggies.

hahahaha that is great I do the same thing with my dog, always showing people the cell phone pics on the rare occasion that my dog is not with me.

My pup just turned 4 last week he was 4 pounds when I got him at 8 weeks old and is about 90 pounds now. He has finally stopped growing up the ways and is now just filling out more.

I remember when we first got our pups we couldn't get 10 feet down the street without someone stopping us to ooogle, our girlfriends just hated it.

As for the name I think "Lil Bit" suites her, she is super cute by the way and I am sure she will make a wonderful addition to your family
