Damn he is not a human

I can't even begin to imagine what I'd do after the loss of a child. I'd imagine a deep depression. Perhaps him and his fiancee thought the best way to help themselves was to have a "happy" day. There probably weren't that many since his daughter died. Right or wrong, it's easy to sit and judge...especially Mike Tyson. I just hope I never have to worry about what I'd do.

Fletch XXX 06-11-2009 06:59 AM

i was playing Mike Tyson punch out a couple of days ago lol

UniqueD 06-11-2009 07:25 AM

i dont see anything wrong with it at all.

teg0 06-11-2009 08:54 AM

Its devastating when a child dies and people will always criticize you moving on no matter how long it is until you pick up the pieces

Seriously, WTF is everyone else on about? He married the mother of the child that died. Perhaps this is a way for the two of them to grieve together.

John-ACWM 06-11-2009 09:07 AM

Sounds strange but who knows what it's in his heart.

Yen_HerbalRevenue 06-11-2009 09:09 AM

I can't judge because I can't put myself in that situation. It is hard to lose someone you care about, and I am sure you carry every loss with you in some part the rest of your life. But you also have to continue to live life...

I was thinking along the same lines:2 cents:

Monique Niccole 06-11-2009 10:03 AM

It's not like they had some sort of lavish party. It was a "short, private ceremony".

Blazed 06-11-2009 10:15 AM

Dog the bounty hunteeeeer got married on the same day as his daughters death, thats pretty fucked up.

IPSKeith 06-11-2009 10:19 AM

what does Dog the Bounty Hunter and Mike Tyson have in common? They are both idiots!!!!!! I try not to judge but that's tough not to

Yeah, that is how I read the story, that it was not the mother of his daughter.

But I don't see anything wrong with it. Perhaps it came from the realization that life is incredibly short, and that we need to make the most of each moment we have.

NOT

Tyson?s agent, Harlan Werner, told the AP that Spicer is not Exodus? mother.

Exactly. I think it would have been shocking if he had some big lavish ceremony. They had a quick private 10 min ceremony. No one knows if they might have had some big wedding planned and in light of the tragedy decided to just do it this way.

huh? How would he celebrate and party when his daughter just died? Dont see anything wrong with that?

shermo 06-11-2009 03:58 PM

Maybe the wedding was long planned, was supposed to be much larger scaled, and they brought the plans down for a smaller ceremony and less celebration. It doesn't seem like it was an over the top party with Cristal popping.

We all deal with loss in different ways.

Rangermoore 06-11-2009 04:11 PM

Some people deal with death in different ways, Whatever works for him is cool with me...I do not even like the man...But he has to get on with his life..

No, I think the fact that he was convicted or rape, ruined his career. :thumbsup

ottyhotties 06-11-2009 04:53 PM

It's poor taste to sit in judgment of how other people grieve. Believing in karma that's one area I'll never sit in the judgment of others.

We all grieve differently and Stage 1 of grief is called the denial stage, so is it really that hard to believe Tyson's coping mechanism might be to throw himself into moving on with his life (getting married) like someone throws themselves into working, drinking, etc., etc., after the death of a loved one?

Still, no matter what you dont do such a thing 2 weeks after your daughters death.....wait a few months......its suppose to be 40 days actually....

NinjaSteve 06-11-2009 11:03 PM

I don't think anybody really knows what they'd do unless they were in the situation themselves.

He didn't go out and "party" He had a simple 10 minute ceremony with just him, his wife and a witness. I believe they said in the article that they got the license 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. That is no where near a party.
