Years ago we went into a Denny's in Niagara Falls (it was late and the only place open). I ordered a simple burger and fries.

When the burger got to the table, it was pink in the middle (really pink) - not cooked through.

When I called the waiter over and complained, he said, "You didn't specify HOW you wanted it cooked."

I said, "How about we START with cooked and go from there."

He gave me some lameass excuse and attitude and we ended up leaving without eating or paying for drinks.

Never been back to a Dennys since.
