From 3.1 it just did it automatically. Not sure about from ICQ, but I'm sure it's just as painless.

Mac version is coming, but probably not until Win32 goes final.

I like it so far. have to "rename" my ICQ contacts so that they aren't just numbers, but that's no biggie.
