My dog is getting a bit too smart for my liking. He's figuered out how to open the kitchen door now when I lock him in for barking when he's in the garden.

He also teams up with my mums cat when she takes him to her holiday home. The cat wants out but my mum doesnt let her, so my dog opens the door for her and off she goes.

Thankfully he is as smart as he is. He realized I overslept an hour before I did. Woke up at 5:30 instead of 4:30 and still got on my plane on time.

What kind of dog is it again?

I had a mutt when I was growing up that used to "hug" you whenever you were upset. He would also go wait at the bottom of the stairs when the 11pm news started and if my parents didn't get up in a few minutes he would bark like Cmon! My mom would tell him to go to bed and he would go upstairs and curl up on his blanket but not until my mom told him to go.

My Lab is scary smart, like a mad scientist. I think he's plotting my death so he's free to get cookies from my wife any time he wants.

lol, my lab is smart but i'm glad he still hasn't figured a few things out, like how to open the cupboard where his treats are kept.

My friend used to have 2 on his farm and they where actually good help for him.
