Ever take hydrocodone? I got prescribed that for pain after having two wisdom teeth surgically removed (they were all fucked up, roots all gnarled and shit, it was awful) and after a while on that stuff, I was seriously messed up.

I'd be sitting up straight on the couch but feel like I was falling over. I got so paranoid about the "falling over" feeling that I started staring at the lamp at the end of the couch -- it was one of those standing halogen lamps, taller than I am, and I was trying to use it as a plumb line: "No, I'm still parallel to the lamp, I'm not falling over." (5 minutes later) "Okay, still parallel to the lamp..."

My husband came home and found me stoned out of my fucking mind, staring at the lamp like I was hypnotized. :1orglaugh

Shit, I have 3 wisdom teeth that still need to come out but I've been avoiding the dentist like the cops. The one tooth that I did have pulled was just like you said, "roots all gnarled and shit." I swear I saw God at the very moment it was yanked outta my face.

I didn't get any drugs like yours... well, none from the dentist at least. I guess I'll insist upon a prescription when I go in for my last major dental-face-fuckup...
