PayPal for Membership? Any Advice?
 

This has happened to me a few times now...

A potential customer writes to me, saying that they do not have a credit card, or they are from some country where they can't pay for a membership, or whatever - and in the end they ask if they can pay me via PayPal for a monthly membership.

Is this okay? Anyone have any advice on this?

you can't officially take PayPal, but I suppose you could have them pay you directly and set them up a manual non-recurring membership.

Yeah, that's what I would do, but I was just wondering if my PayPal address could be used for ulterior purposes. The emails always seem pretty legit, but with all of the scams in the world these days, I was just wondering if it was safe. Thanks again!
