My girlfriend was talking to someone in the medical field who is here for a conference regarding this or something. She said the vaccines have a chance of killing you anyway.

Most people have a natural immunity to it, which is why it doesn't kill people any more.

However, the new strains are resistant to antibiotics and other things, and probably would bring some casualties, but it's hardly all that scary of a terror weapon.

Actually, I assume that any country which helps the US in the fight against Al Qaeda can expect to be a potential target, along with any country in which there are significant numbers of Americans gathered. Who'd have thought they'd attack Bali? It turns out they apparently thought they'd be killing mostly Americans but got mostly Australians. Lack of research on their part. Time will tell if countries respond more by siding with the US against terrorists even further or give in to the terrorists and pull away from the US.

I think we'll soon reach the point where Americans might be kidnapped and murdered anywhere in the world in the name of Al Qaeda terror.
