When will these people ever be at peace for FUCK SAKES! Everyother fuckin day someone is suicide bombing others because of their fucked up religous beliefs. Death and hatred is just bred right into these people for generations now. Its like they arent human.

Religion is just the surface bs. The real problem is the real estate issue and who owns it. That's at the heart of this conflict. Both sides say its their land going back thousands of years.

The problem is real estate isn't really owned by anyone on this planet. Its only controlled by whoever has the force and power to declare and maintain ownership be it by legal means (aka a properly titled deed) or in cases like in Israel by the barrel of a gun.

We should talk. Go back a couple hundred years and the USA wasn't much different. England claimed parts of it. Spain claimed parts of it. France claimed parts of it. Mexico claimed a huge amount of the west coast. And of course the real dudes that got royally fucked in the ass, the native american Indians who we slaughtered to take control of the land which is now so nicely divided into lots and deeded.

So the middle east will be in eternal turnmoil because we're in the 21st century now and you can't do today what we used to be able to do and get away with 300 years ago.

This stems from religous issues. Its not just as simple as saying, ok lets split the land. This land is considered very holy and can not be seperated due to biblical scriptures (Genesis). Its a long story.....

I heard the best quote from a Saudi guy the other day: even if you destroy all the relics in the middle east, the religious zealots will kill each other over a holy pile of rubble.

Step 1 - Build a big fence around the whole region. Let nobody in and nobody out.

Step 2 - Send enough weapons for every man, woman, and child to take out a city block.

Step 3 - Broadcast the resulting mess on pay-per-view.

If you have a few rotten apples, you don't thow away the case right? Why should we do something like that with the middle east? Have you ever looked at north Ireland ?!?

A large part of the problem in the Middle East is the fact that it's been ruled by other countries for hundreds of years. If I recall correctly, wasn't Afganastan, Iran, and Iraq all ruled by England? Suddenly they were released from being ruled and the brutes took over.

I agree they are fucked up but I seem to believe that WE meaning western people shouldn't be on their land. It doesn't bother me if THEY are crazy or fight over weird things. It bothers me that the US is pissing them off and Canadians need to order smallpox shots.
