Great Economy shows every where, our crew is there even though its not like last year its still fun, those who did come are doing business and having fun.

I went there last night to see the Santana Show at the Joint (non industry related)....I didn't see more than 2 people from the show that I recognized. Hell, I didn't see more than a few people wearing badges!

Is that pic from this year's show during peak hours? It looks like the sun is just rising/setting?

We where at Wasted Space when the show was going on and there was a nice crowd there, with badges for sure, even though the security guy was being a dick to people coming into the party.....I think he is upset he is not a real police officer or something..lol

its a slow year for the economy/internet sales and there is going to be a big dilution when you have 3 summer shows, webmasteraccess, xbiz and internext fl

The show is actually pretty good, lots of business owners now, you dont see affilaite reps or models as much anymore

The pool was cold. Not that hot out, so no surprise that all the pools here were empty.

it wasnt as bad as the picture portrays but it did seem smaller.still a good time though.

There are two pools here. Neither has more than a couple people in it. Too cold.

First picture is clearly a pic of the Rehab parties the HR has n Sundays, second pic is not the HR at all..

We're actually not expecting a downturn at Cybernet Expo over 2008 numbers... I'm very pleased about that, given economic conditions. Jay has done a fantastic job promoting the show. I think the fact that Cybernet has always been heavily focused on education and business is paying off. We've never tried to be the biggest show of the summer, just to stick with what works for attendees year after year. We consistently get feedback from attendees that they did great business at Cybernet... which is what it's all about.

That said... we do have some wicked parties planned. ;) Opening night party at Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, then a prime time Rock the Ball concert the next night at the Red Devil Lounge with bands Smash Up Derby and Notorious. And of course the closing night Kink in the Kastle party at the Kink.com Armory building:

We also tend to attract a different crowd than other summer shows. So you're going to meet new people, even if you're at all the other shows.

Always happy for more people to attend. Some of you in this thread I know are already attending, but anyone who hasn't thought about it... we'd love to see you in SF.

Yeah that is not the pool at the hard rock at all in that second pic, there where people in the pool not many but some, last night was a blast at the circle bar, was nice meeting all those who did attend, still a good show no matter what.

Yeah, he had little man sydrome going on, frankly he should be in trouble. It's not like he needed to be a dick, $$$ is $$$ in these bad times, and after all it was ccbill's deal. He was rude, while asking us for our Id's, not that he didn't need to check (considering open bar) he just could have been friendly, like the biker guy at the exit.
