Anyone else get called from Directnic asking about emails?
 

Got called yesterday from a guy who said he was with Directnic. Said their mail server was having issues and was checking to see if I was getting my mails.

In all these years, never been called by them.

Anyone else. i just found it odd.

Did they call from Nigeria and asked for your bank account no?

i think someone was just seeing if you were at home.

Sounds very fishy honestly. Someone checking the phone number me thinks.

I do believe that's what hackers call social engineering.

That's what I was thinking as well. Checking to see if my account info was correct. Maybe a hater wanting to steal one of my domains.
