Questions to think about...
At what point does a potential buyer turn into a freeloader?
How many more avenues of free content are yet to be developed before most all surfers just refuse to buy memberships? How fast can new adult products be developed to give surfers a reason to buy membership over getting off on what's already available for free? What ways can we protect content from being distributed illegally over file sharing networks? At what point does free promotional content exceed a reasonable limit as to where it causes market saturation? |

It is blatently obvious that the current way of saturating the marketplace with more and more free stuff will reach a point where it's just too much.
Some will agree that we have already reached that point but they will continue to do what they have been doing, and some say that we are have not reached that point yet so they will also continue doing what they have been doing. This industry is too big and it has too many independent operators to be regulated before it collapses under it's own weight, and it will collapse. The recent VISA fiasco has given some webmasters a taste of things to come, but be aware, there is heaps more where that came from. It will need to get worse, much worse, before it can get any better. But that will take a long time because domains that currently host all that free stuff will take time to expire. |

Dynamic IPs are a pain in the ass... There would just have to be a solution for dynamic IPs, some other machine identifier like MAC address maybe?
