Need Help removing Antivirus System Pro
 
HI everyone..

I don't know what the hell I did but this Antivirus system pro wont leave my computer.. Can anyone help!

The system should have an uninstall feature on it. If not go to Start/control panel/add remove and select it from the list and hit uninstall.

I tried that.. It is not showing up in the list

Try that... and quit using internet explorer. use firefox with ad block plus too.

download/install free version

update free version to newest one in the software after install

full scan

remove it

If that doesn't work re-name the .exe file on that download to something else because I think that virus could look for programs like it and prevent you from installing it. Another guy on another forum I read recommended to rename the the download.

thanks for the urls!

I downloaded MalwareBYTES did a full scan which took a while and then removed the affected files and then rebooted and Now I do not see that stupid thing popping up on startup.. soooo I think that got rid of it.. hopefully for good.... THANKS SO MUCH! XOXOXO

Malwarebytes does a kickass job at removing this infection. Hope you got rid of it entirely but make sure to run your *real* virus scanner and make sure it is updated as well.
