Plot
----
Crusty, inflexible Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) must confront his Hmong immigrant neighbors ? and his own long-held prejudices ? when the family's teen son, Thao, tries to steal Walt's beloved 1972 Gran Torino. Walt soon assumes the unlikely role of guardian angel to young Tao and his sister, who are vulnerable to disturbing gang influences in this intimate drama from 78-year-old director Eastwood.

Yup saw it a couple of months back thought it was a really good movie well worth checking .

7/10 seems about right...it was a movie worth seeing:)

Saw it yesterday. It was amazing but the acting of the younger crowd was really bad. Clint saved it with a stunning performance.

Agree, I think they should have gone with some better actor/actress for the two main Asian kids. Clint said in an interview that he wanted to incorporate actual citizens of that town into the movie, but those two roles should have been filled with better actors. He also made that movie on the cheap, guess he got like tax right offs and stuff for filming there. The movie was good, love that car. Man that would be sweet if some old guy gave me a cherry Gran Torino :thumbsup

I give this movie an 8.It was a very brave story.And Clint is a hell of an actor and director.

Great Movie, I saw it last weekend. It' has a great moments though I would have like to /see the Gran Torino in action a little more. =) 7/10 was my vote in IMDB too, it was fun to watch and has a nice message in the end.

watched it on my flight from USA yesterday, was pretty good, but glad didnt bother paying to go see it at big screen

it was ok, glad i didnt have to pay to see it - was given a screener's copy of it a few months back
