What do you use to edit and render video to flv?

Dont need anything complex, just add watermarks and transitions and split long vids down.

Cheers

For cutting up clips and adding watermarks, if you need something simple, go with VideoCharge.

well, i usually work with the raw files on my comp with Sony Vegas, then upload the files to the server and through the command prompt with ffmpeg i convert them to .flv - command line works so sweet, you need a bit of knowledge for doing this but nothing crazy. otherwise there are other tools that convert to .flv but dont know any plugin for Vegas.

I don't think there is one, but you can use Frameserver to serve the vegas source to other flv capable encoders like carbon, procoder, adobe media encoder, super, plain ffmpeg etc ...

the probem is, when you need a batch encoding flv from vegas with frameserver you actuay need to run multiple instances of vegas/frameserver and then do the regular batch with flv encoder. I did 15 instances, but it eats memory.
regular batch encoding with vegas is not a problem tho

Final Cut Pro - Flash Cs3's Encode program

My favorite by far for almost all editing is vegas. That can handle the watermarks and batch process files. As far as making flvs Sorenson squeeze works really well.
