yes, we do that on the gfy contest threads because we had different ppl collecting multiple bonuses using fake nicks... we want to show people its truly 1 bonus per person. by forcing people to scan their ids, it becomes a little difficult to start asking other people for their ids if they try to collect multiple bonuses, plus i think most ppl understand we are a professional company - ina way, every single affiliate we know their identity, address, etc. im sorry, but other ppl have ruined it with bots, etc - and that is why the rule is in place.

Yes, but from legit webmasters you shouldn't require such info. After all I am also an affiliate of yours! If you don't want to pay, please let me know. I am not going to scan my id and send you, because it's my privacy. Also, next time make this a rule in your contests...

to be honest, when it comes to the gfy posting contest - we don't know who is legit and who isn't - we do know ppl have made it a business to register multiple nicks, use post bots, etc in order to collect hundreds of dollars from lots of different companies. :2 cents:

I am totally with you on this one. I hate those bots and cheaters too! However, it's not too hard to distinguish real webmasters from cheaters. You can do this simply by looking at their sites (if they have any, anyway). You can also consult other companies and see whether that person is an affiliate with them and whether he actually made some sales, or at least sent clicks. There are many other ways to distinguish legit people from losers! That's why I think your id requirement rule is not necessary (at least from people you are sure are legit).
And again, I will repeat my question: Are you going to pay me or not?
