I am pretty sure they aren't equating the mistreatment of blacks to gay rights in the same way that you just did... but I think it is clearly fair to equate the right of gays to be citizens without discrimination to the right of blacks to be citizens without discrimination. Noone should be discriminated against... including people with handicaps, like yourself.
