DIVX DVD Bruning

Can anyone suggest software I can use to burn DVIX movies to DVD?

Pretty much any software can be used to burn divx to a dvd. its more about whether or not your dvd player can play divx. Ive used nero and roxio both to burn. most of the time i dont waste a dvd and burn dvix files to cd. They play in my dvd player fine.

Ive tried Roxio Creator 9 and Digital Media Plus and I get a popup saying they dont support this file type.

What version of Roxio are you using?

You're not asking the right question.

Do you want to convert the Divx to DVD format? Or do you want a Divx file burned on a DVD-R? If you want the latter then your problem is that you're not burning the DVD as Data... you're trying to burn it as a DVD Video Disc.

I guess I want to convert the movie to DVD format and burn it to DVD.

Are you sure your DVD player doesn't play divx "data" files off a burned DVD? Most do nowadays.

I never change Divx to DVD, so I can't be very helpful, but if there's a free program that will do it easily (with guides) it will be found here:

ConvertX will take video in ANY FORMAT and convert it the proper format for buring. It will also burn it too.

It's as easy as it gets.
