I am currently totally into Call of Duty 5 and 4. Cant stop playing those..

I've played through COD4 SP once and have never played multiplayer anything online.

Is it hard to get started playing against others with so much more experience?

There are many like you without experience and there are tons with..
It is very diffirent from single player though. But if you like the game, you would probably enjoy multiplayer aswell. And the better you get at that, the more you´ll enjoy it for sure! :-)
