Pidgin universal IM client?
Anyone actively use this?
Is it better than others? I am just tired of needing to run yahoo, aol, msn, icq, etc.. Any better suggestions? Your input is welcome. THANKS |
pidgin for pc
adium for mac hands down the only shit you need |
No!
Nobody uses pidgin! Pidgin sucks!!! Download aol, and msn, and icq, and yahoo, and bonzibuddy and all their respectable toolbars!! |
Pidgin is ok...a little bit clunky in the UI though. Try Trillian if you want a similar product.
I like it and use it on both Linux and Windows. On my Adium rocks which also uses libpurple lib ;)
pidgin works great
Trillian user here.
Pidgin is shit. Used trillian for years but now I use miranda.
I'd suggest to try QIP
I use miranda and like it.
I perfer trillian.
Pidgin rocks!
is it posible to import/move your chat history from ICQ to the new clients like pidgin, trillian, miranda ?
This is one of the biggest reasons I'm not switching |
I don't like pidgin because I have 4000+ icq contacts (I can't run icq because it crashes) and in pidgin you have to name them yourself (at least I did). :P
pidgin here. works fine.
pidgin kicks ass
I'm trying out Digsby, seems pretty good.
I love Pidgin, especially all the plugins... including Facebook chat, psychic mode and some others.
Using pidgin now works fine for me. Anything is better than having to keep Aim, ICQ and every other messaging client open at once.
