exactly ... all the videos on tube sites are not from paying members, but from hackers who shares their passwords with friends who upload the movies to usenet etc, then it ends at tube sites ... everything else is about discussion :)

oops ... yes, maybe thats it ... but member may not know ... but, fuck it, its already few minutes old idea :)

Most sites have mechanisms to stop password sharing. Not sure limiting people to one download would do anything.

And the tube sites started with videos uploaded by the owner. Most don't even accept user uploads anymore, or at least don't post the videos.
