Used Porsche Boxter or New Honda Accord Coupe
 

I have a choice to make. I can either buy a brand new Honda Accord coup or a used Porsche Boxter. Are there any Porsche Boxter owners in here? I would like to hear some of your thoughts!

a friend of mine had a 2000 boxster, she had a ton of problems, mainly it would vapor lock. after about 9 months of headaches she traded for a land cruiser.

if you can afford the repairs (if there going to be any in the future since it's used) and insurence go for the boxter...

if you want much lower insurence and a rock solid engine go for the honda... and new coupe ain't slow, 240hp 6 speed manual, you can add mods in the future and pull 300+ hp off it with turbo or supercharger ....

The boxter is a joke. Its like those VW Bug kits you can buy to make it look like a lambo or ferarri. Its just a base VW car chasis with some tuning and some nice metal and paint work for poor yuppies who are trying to prove something.

If you like to drive fast you could get a Golf GTI VR6 with 200hp stock and tune the thing and it would blow the doors off the Boxter.

You can tune a Honda Accord to go way faster then a boxter, the insurance is lower, parts are less, and its less likely to get stolen.

The real question is are you trying to look like something you haven't achieved yet (a high roller who can afford a carerra) or do you want a sports car (ie: a car with some hp)?

Thats just my opinion though and no offense meant. A car is a personal decision and not really something you should be asking about on the board unless you want reviews on both cars to help you make a decision.

They are both good choices for declaring your homosexuality to the world...the Honda says that you are just a tad more flaming though...so it really depends on which statement of sexuality you wish to make: gay or ultra gay.

you cant compare that. VR6 sux. insurance is very high too.
