This is fucking crazy...!
Okay -- so there is a public inquiry in Canada at the moment into $225k cash that was paid to former prime minister Brian Mulroney by a German businessman.
The inquiry has cost $14 million, and the tax payer is on the hook for Mulroney's legal fees -- which are about another $2 million. Why the fuck did they spend $16 million to find out how Mulroney got $225k....? This seems a little bit fucking crazy to me. |
Too much for sure

the cost is not really 225k, if people get the idea they can get bribes and not be caught society eventually loses must more due to corruption

it is fucking ridiculous, the fact we are on the hook for his legal bills and he was found guilty of not paying taxes on half the amount is nuts.
Lawyers get rich and we get the shaft |

How about the US Gov spending more on investigating Bill Clinton's extramarital affairs then they did on the investigation into 911? These are the people that control our Governments.
|
ha ha... crazy...
|
Mulroney's legal fee's alone are 2 million bucks.
Not to mention everytime we drag him out he launches a law suit against us. |
Unlike Pinocchio whose nose grew when he lied -- with Mulroney, his mouth gets smaller, and smaller, and smaller.
