War Memorial Vandalism - [PICS]
 

Last weekend a local war memorial was hit by grafitti vandals - spraying tags and swastikas on a beautiful granite monument in a nearby park.

The memorial is historically significant since it was the last major memorial erected in Canada in honor of the WWI & WWII vets who served and died.

As a former serviceman myself with many ancestors who have served (and died) in various wars Canada has participated in over the years - there are times when I think street justice should prevail.

They are probably stupid little kids who dont know better. We had that same shit happen here this weekend as well. Not that that is any excuse I would still, at the very least, break all their fingers and fill their mouths and eyes with paint. You know, just to make sure they knew they fucked up.

Part of the problem in this area is a complete lack of cop presence in the community. You rarely see a cop out walking the streets - most often they're simply driving by from point A to B.

And then there's the spineless juvenile court system where they give them a slap on the wrist and turn'em loose with a very small penalty.

What we need is for a judge to be able to hand down a unique sentence such as forcing the little bastards to scrub ALL the grafitti across the city - with a big sign near where they're working reading, "I'M THE DUMBASS WHO SPRAYED THIS...AND NOW I HAVE TO CLEAN IT AS PUNISHMENT."

Oh, but that would somehow infringe on their rights and 'self-esteem', wouldn't it. We can't have that now. We wouldn't want to invoke the ire of all the bleeding heart liberals in the system.

Some people are real assholes. That they are kids isn't an excuse. If I had done that my parents would have punished me so hard that I would have felt like I had been to war myself afterwards. Not to mention the shame they would have made me feel. Shame is underused these days.

Canada entered WW1 in 1914 it ended in 1918
The U,S entered that war six months into 1917
Canada entered WW2 in 1939
U.S enetered in Dec of 1942 once its navy was attacked.
The U.S and Canada has fought in and died side by side in those wars then Korea and know in Afganistan. And on a per capita basis Canada lost more troops in WW2 then any other nation with the exception of Russia,

I really think the bleeding heart liberals in Canada are starting to become extinct. People are tired of the police and the legal system failing them and they are starting to take the law into there own hands.

Teenagers today have no respect. Last week I was at the movies and when I came out there was about five guys standing in the middle of the parking lot drinking, partying and generally just being assholes. When I got into my truck my girlfriend pointed out that one of them had started pissing on an older persons vehicle next to them while the older couple where in the vehicle. I did what any 30 year old guy driving a Hummer would do. I dropped it into a low gear and plowed thru the group. Not fast enough to hurt them but fast enough so they got the point. You should have seen the look on the punks face when he got an ass full of bumper while holding his little dick in his hand.

It happens in 1st world nations when the youth are not properly taught about the sacrifices made by the men and women who came before them.

Last summer I watched as a cop wrote a guy a ticket for pissing on the wall of a Canadian Legion in Port Dalhousie.

$365 bucks it cost the disrespectful asshole.

It really made my night.

First of all I didn't run them over. I was teaching punks a little respect, I should have gotten out pulled their pants down and spanked them but I restrained myself. It's not a lie, I just felt like sharing a little heart warming story.

Second, consuming alcohol in a public place and urinating in a public place are both crimes in Canada.

It took a whole summer to clean up the statu on Mont-Royal where the tam tam jams happen every Sunday.

I don't mind street art when it is done well and in places that needs a bit of colors but these dumbass kids defenitly need a swift kick in the ass.
