Anyone exploring the capital wasteland?

Just started playing Fallout 3 and I am very impressed. I love the first two games but I did not have very high expectations on the third installment since it was developed by an entirely different studio. It's more of an action rpg now but it just works and is very enjoyable. Any recommendations on similar games I can pick up for the 360? Oblivion I already have in my sights.

Fag. You forgot Broken Steel, which continues from the end of the game.

Pick that one up for sure so you don't get disappointed by the ending.

Mass Effect and Oblivion for sure.

One of my friends from High School was lead quest writer for Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 cost me about 1 1/2 months of my life. - Great Game!

I loved Operation Anchorage and The Pitt. I just downloaded Broken Steel, so yep, I'll be out wandering the Capital Wasteland again..

Yes, in the style of Fallout 3. :thumbsup

Fallout 3 was my first of the series and I was hooked for a solid week before I finished the main set of quests... Then I kind of lost interest, I can never do the side quests without some sort of overall goal. I was thinking of playing it again as an evil character.

I didn't even realize there were downloadable expansion packs, I'll have to check that out. :thumbsup

RobertD 05-20-2009 08:16 AM

Broken Steel allows you to play beyond the ending and raises the level cap to 30.
