Do you guys buy these things?

I have never ever had the urge to 'pick numbers' etc... and I just caught (on the news) an elderly couple in Virginia just won the State Lottery for the second time.

11 years ago they won 10-11 million, and this week they got a scratch off ticket that landed them 1000 a week indefinitely.

Some people are reeeeeally lucky.

Too bad their like 70 + years old, so theyll never get it all anyway.

In 1988 when the Florida Lotetry just opened I hit 5 numbers out of 6 for $3500.

I can remember seeing in TV about an Australian guy who was really down on his luck (in the space of a year a close family member died, he got cancer and his wife left him) who decided he might as well buy a lottery scratchcard.

He bought one, and won a car.

The local TV news found out about this, and decided to do a story on him. As part of the story, they decided to do a reconstruction of his win, so they asked him to buy another scratchcard while they videotaped him.

He bought another scratchcard, and won $250,000...

24 hour paying video poker machines in new orleans are quite addictive too.

Ive walked out of a bar with 500 bones for betting 5 bucks a hand on Straight Poker machines.

I won $ 7,777.00 on a scratch ticket about 3 months ago. I've won $ 1,000.00 3 or 4 times scratch tickets, $ 500.00 can't remember how many times, $ 300.00 4 days ago...
