Phone number just for call forwarding?
I have someone that is starting to do some business development for me (mainstream) and I offered to buy them a cell phone and service, but they would rather just use their current cell.
I'm looking for something where I can just buy a local phone number and have it forwarded to his cell for $xx a month. I know vonage has something but I dont feel like going out to buy another unit and I dont want to sign a year contract with a company if it doesnt work out. Any suggestions? |
Not sure what your using it for fully, but i've used a company called VoiceStar for tracking multiple phone numbers across internet campaigns.
I actually think that this might be good... Not sure. Check it out at: http://www.voicestar.com/ |

Call your existing phone company and ask them, I have that type of setup with Rogers and I think its only $5/mn more. I don't know if any companies will offer just that service, but most offer that as a complimentary service if you have services with them.

Buy a magic jack at www.magicjack.com and you can go online and forward that number to anywhere you wish. Then you don't have to pay a monthly fee.

use www.GrandCentral.com now Google Voice. :2 cents:

Google Voice is the shit. I've been using it for quite a while and it's only gotten better.
