Best Noobs & Semi-Noobs Guide to Adult Blogging & Making That Money$$$

Sup Everyone!
Before I get started I'd like to warn you. Most people think making money in the adult industry is like eating cake, well it's not unless your some hot famous chick and want to do a photo-shoot. Otherwise you'll have to put in some serious amount of time, making money in the adult industry takes time and work.

Because I won't be able to edit this later I'll post any updates here at skankblogs.com

Now lets get started...

1. Create your blog
There's different ways to build and create blogs. Starting on a free adult blog host is one of the cheapest(free) and easiest ways. After you get your blog up and running you can start posting or importing feeds. If you're patient, creative, and work hard you'll do fine with or without importing feeds. If you'd rather have more of an automated option that works too. After creating a blog find some sponsors with good RSS feeds. I'll post some below.

You can also get a cheap hosting plan at dreamhost, use code SKNKBLOGS to get the max discount. I've used them for years and never had any real problems. Their service can go out but my uptime with them is good, especially sense you're paying less than 10 bucks a month. Also it's something like 21 bucks for the first year with the code above.

Even if you buy some hosting and a domain or two it's still good to use a free adult blog host like skankblogs.com. That way you can do link trades and have more sites to work with, more traffic is always a good thing. Even if you don't want to write every post yourself just set some of them on autopilot, it will help long term to have a at least a few blogs.

If you signup at dreamhost it's really easy to setup wordpress. You can click a button in their control panel and it pretty much installs. The other reason for using them is you usually get different class C IPs when adding a domain. I'm not going into the details about why that's good. But you can check in google for that info. Dreamhost also installs a number of themes for you so if you're a noob you won't need to find a theme and figure out how to use it.

2. Content
You'll need to write the content yourself or use sponsors RSS feeds, you could also do both which is usually best. After you have the sponsors rss feeds you have a few options for importing them. One of the free options (not the best) is to use rss2anywhere, I'm not going to post how to use them they have that info on their site. If you have your own hosting you can use a *much* better tool but it's not free, Blogs Automator. You can now start importing feeds. Make sure you use the rewrite tool that are in both of the tools I listed.

Sponsors with good feeds...

Lustdollars - Dating RSS feeds. You can sort the feeds by niche too such as Ebony, Milf etc.
LonelyWifeCash - Milf dating feeds.
LoadedCash - Dating RSS Feed.
LatinTeenCash - Smoking hot Latina girls.
DutchTeenCash - Hot Dutch 18-21ish girls.
BVBucks - Hot beach girls.
Nubiles - Hot 18-21ish girls.
OTCash Sexy uniform girls.
TCG - Lots of different niches to pick from.
Webcams.com - Tons of different niches, full of hot cam girls such as Aaliyah Love.

3. Traffic
Once you got that over with sign up over at thunder-ball . Start trading links to get your blog out there and more popular. Be careful how you trade links. You should read up in google about it. If you go nuts and do a ton of direct link trades google will probably remove your site. It's better to do niche trades (latina to latina), and do a-b-c-d link trades. For example I link to site your site (A) from my site (B) then you link to my other site (C) from your other site (D).

You can also submit your blog to blog directories. Which is good for starting off but in the long run link trades are a much better option. Why you ask? Because most of the time you'll be linking to blog directories on your main page. In return they'll be moving your link far from the main page. In a year your link will be on page 105 of the directory and the link to them is still on your front page.

Don't bother buying traffic at any traffic brokers. Quite a few of them send traffic from very sketchy sites. There's some that won't but the traffic is unlikely to do you any good unless you *really* know what you're doing.

After you've done that just rinse and repeat. There's a lot more detail you need to know but that's the basics and should get you started.

4. Extra Stuff

Tools...

If you have your own hosting and you're looking to create a mass number of blogs the easy way then Blogs Organizer is for you. It's not wordpress, it doesn't have a lot of the features wordpress has. But if you want a mass amount of blogs this tool is amazing, I use it on several domains of mine. It will take some time to get the hang of it but once you do you'll love how easy it is to create more blogs. It doesn't really come with any good themes but you can buy some extremely cheap or make them yourself.

If you want to put your blogs on autopilot check out Blogs Automator. It works with wordpress, wordpress MU, blogs organizer, and other blogging software. This script saves me a lot of time.

If you're looking for more useful scripts check all of these out. I personally use blog organizer, blog automator, gallery scraper. These tools aren't free but more than worth the price compared to anything else I've seen. When I first looked those scripts up I instantly closed the page. It looked like one of those crappy ebook pages so I figured the software must suck. But after trying them out I was kicking myself for not using them sooner. (Sorry for the design comment if you read this Kaktusan.)

Domains and link trading...

If you buy a domain I'd suggest moniker.com but most places will do fine. Personally I would buy domains that contain the keywords I'm shooting for in google. For example, "hot latina", if you can't get hotlatina.com or .net then try hotlatinablog.com etc etc. When you start trading links at thunder-ball use that term in the link to your site "hot latina". Make sure the term gets several hits a month and there isn't a huge amount of good competition. As an example odds are you won't ever rank #1 for porn.

Take your link trading seriously if you want your site(s) to get anywhere. There's nothing wrong with trading outside of thunder-ball but it's going to be more trouble. You'll need tools that tell you if people are keeping their links up to your sites. Over the years a lot of people put up automatic trade scripts, they accept trades and then delete them after some months. It can be a pain in the ass keeping up with them all. Thunder-ball has a built in function to let you know if someone drops their links. I believe blog organizer also has a link checker built in for trading links.

Rewriting...

Your blog will likely be removed from google if you just import feeds without rewriting the words. The best tool is Blogs Automator, you can also rewrite with Blogs Organizer but if you're going the free route use rss2anywhere. You can get morphing feeds from some sponsors such as BV Bucks above but honestly it's better to change it up yourself too. It will take some time to get a good list going but in the long run it's worth it.

Hosting...

Although I suggested dreamhost above which I think is great for the reasons I listed and other reasons I won't go into now, you may hear they suck. Well they aren't the best, if you want to pay for some better hosting there's always nationalnet and others. I use both nationalnet and even dreamhost still after 4 years or so now. Spreading your sites out is a good thing, for one reason it will make a difference when link trading. Some people won't do link trades with you if all of your sites are on the same IP. Dreamhost usually gives you IP numbers that are far apart and usually different class Cs when you add a domain, you don't even have to request it.

VPS Hosting...

VPS plans are a joke IMO. I've tried several VPS plans and they just aren't worth it. Most of the time they aren't any better than shared hosting because resources are still being shared. You may find a host that gives you a VPS that's better than shared hosting. But if they start overselling (adding too many VPS customers on your server) then you'll be screwed, sometimes worse than if you were just on shared hosting. It's better to stick with shared and upgrade to dedicated later if you need it or keep your shared hosting account too.

Wordpress plugins...

There's a good amount of wordpress plugins out there. If you're building blogs on a mass level you probably won't need many plugins or none at all. One that's already used at skank blogs is all in one seo. This tool makes it easy to optimize your wordpress themes for SEO. Another great one is wp super cache, it's a great tool that serves static pages instead of taking up server resources. If you want to leave comments on for your blogs make sure you enable akismet.

Lots missing there but its a nice start.

There are plenty of hosting options so make sure to ASK AROUND and also look around at the sites. Just because its cheap does not mean that its worth using.

there are also TONS of affiliates with RSS Feeds and Plenty of other paid Morphers and Free ones.

The BEST WAY to make money in porn is to do a lot of reading A lot of asking, and even more reading.

If you want some other good sponsors, see my sig. If you need help, affiliate or not, ICQ me. thats in my sig as well.

As I said some people say they suck. But there's benefits of using dreamhost, I posted a few ofem. I've used them for over 4 years and haven't ran into any real problems. They've gone down a few times but any host will, especially at that price. My overall uptime with them over the last year has been great.

Some people put high traffic websites on dreamhost (or any shared hosting) and get pissed when they get their account closed. If people would read the agreement or knew anything about shared hosting they'd know not to do that. Dreamhost is actually one of the few host that tells you how many cpu cycles you can use in a day. They give you the tools to measure it yourself. But of course no one can be bothered with that. Although it is crappy for host to advertise unlimited when it isn't really.

Why should I trust you when I use them and haven't had any real problems with them for years? Anyone can read my previous post to see why so many people get their account canned there or any shared hosting for that matter. Don't put high traffic sites on there, don't put scripts that eat up resources on there. Use their tools to see how many cpu cycles you are taking up if you're worried about it.

Last I checked my sites on dreamhost get about 20k traffic and I'm nowhere near the cpu cycle limit.
