Before I got addicted to google years ago it was Hotbot, fuck what other search engines were being used back then.

Or which ones do you guys use?

I still use hotbot - works fine

hotbot is ugly. that lime green color shooed me away from them years back.

before google, it was altavista all the way.

a friend of mine put up 'twatbot.com' years ago.

back in the day, webcrawler was cool

Alexa is an install on your browser and it tracks the sites you visit. It then assigns a rank to every web site based on popularity. For example #1 is Google. #2 is MSN #3 is Yahoo. It tracks the traffic websites get. It also allows you to review sites and gives contact and other sote information for people who have downloaded onto the browser. It is more of a business tool than anything else.

then it tells the government if you are a terrorist =)~
