GeoIP will never be perfect, since it's based on the administrative mailing addresses for a block of IPs, but this one is WAY out.

Might be because Greenwich is at longitude zero.

I actually lived very close to Greenwich, UK and it usually places me in somewhere in the UK far away from me.

I do when selecting a dating sponsor to promote. If it is off for me, shit happens. If it is off for many others, then there is a problem that would affect conversions. Of course AFF is so huge they don't need to give a fuck. I need the bucks and dating conversions ratios are going to shit.

No offense, but fixing one block isn't the answer. It's the whole system or a good portion of it. I checked from multiple locations in zip area 631 and 630. Two others have been defined in this thread

I THINK the problem is localized to geo thumb ads. I think once inside a tour, the problem does not exist.

There is a Greenwich Australia :) But if you give me your IP address and the cityname that you expect to be showing then we'll contact our database provider and have it corrected for you.

As pussyluver said, fixing one block out of 16 million isn't going to make any difference. (More specifically because no one from my office - which has its own C class IP block - is ever going to sign up to AFF. :) )

Thinks: someone could make a lot of money by creating a community that verifies geoIP.
