"I am glad you posted this!! I received this today, and started filling out the form, but when I got to the part about Acct. info I got my card, and red flags started popping through my head.. IF it were walmart they would have every single possible place able to hold a link, with it linked to their website. Why would they ever send out an email, without free advertising.. WISH I would have gotten the free $150. through! SO, there is really no way to track these emails? They are sent from [email protected] There are three websites linked through that email? reidtooldesign.com , websitesource.com, habitat4hire.com. How do you know for sure, that none of these emails are real? Who has actually submitted their info? What can be done? WHATS NEXT?" -------------------------------------------- Tony Satone on February 27th, 2009 10:12 am "Stephanie, you?re a moron. The mail comes from ?survey.com? and NEVER should you consider giving your credit or debit card number when requested by email. Not to mention that unless you remember having actually giving Walmart your email address its rather unlikely that they would even have you on file Good job at almost being a victim of identity fraud, you buffoon." damn :1orglaugh |

I'm amazed someone with 17,000 posts on a webmaster board even considered it. Just reading the title of the thread told me it was a scam. The only reason I would have clicked the link is to do my own little investigation. I'm sure a lot of fools fell for it, probably still are and that's sad. It's this type of thing that's going to fuel the fire for those that want to crack down on the net.
