Anyone? I plan on seeing it in IMAX tomorrow night. Looks to set the bar for summer movies. :thumbsup:thumbsup

A buddy of mine just got back from seeing a pre-screening.

He's no hardcore trekkie or much of a Trek fan at that.

All he could say was "WOW". He really liked the movie.

Now I can't fucking stand going to the theatre anymore.
There's always at least 3 people I want to stab in the face with dull rusty spoon (yaya, tell you how I really feel).

But I might go check this out next weekend.

No, it wont matter at all if you know mothing about Star Trek. JJ Abrams made the movie so that it could appeal to hardcore tek fans, as well as someone that knows nothing about Star Trek. Abrams himself admits that he knew very little about Star Trek when he made the movie. You will enjoy it regardless of your experience level!

Yep i feel the same way, there is always some cunt who wants to talk to his friend all the way through a film. I went to see Watchman and had four guys behind me talking, in the end i turned round and told them to shut the fuck or get the fuck out. They stopped for a while then started again, i called the manager and they got thrown out. But i missed some of the film. Why the fuck do people need to talk during a film ? I agree with you, but a rusty spoon is just too nice, how about a dog shit covered fork in the eye :321GFY

I've been at movies recently where some motherfuckers would talk all the way through the fucking movie, even during the loud action parts. What the fuck could you possibly be talking about while Wolverine is flying through the air toward a helicopter?

I think it's going to suck like Dumber and Dumberer did. That Vulcan dude even shares the same hairstyle as Lloyd. Of course the special effects will WOW you but I mean who cares, there's no soul in this movie whatsoever.
