Ever get a spam complaint and you dont know why?
 

One of the companies I do some sys admin work for got an e-mail that someone was sending spam e-mails from their server. After searching through qmail logs and access logs we found that there was an old copy of FormMail.pl on one of the domains that was being used by a spammer to send out mass e-mails. It seems that their is a program that can access this script and lets spammers send e-mails from what ever server they happen to locate this file on. Many of you guys might know about this already but for those of you who dont it is a good idea to run
locate FormMail.pl on any servers that have a bunch of hosted domains any version eairler then 1.9 can be use by spammers
