Content Theft
this site is loaded with tons of stolen content...check to see if your shit is on here:
mov-world.net this guy is one of their primary uploaders: [email protected] |
didn't have a chance to look at the site but I did notice that they are registered with domain privacy at namecheap
you could contact namecheap and bring it to their attention and see what they say about it |

The positive side to this is that the people who are watching the stolen videos are the people who would of never bought a subscription off you anyways so theirs no loss in money, and for the people who pay for a subscription, they wouldnt be computer savvy enough to find out the right websites to find it for free, which is why they are paying you. People who pay for porn are the ones who dont know what the fuck theyr doing. Think on that, and dont always focus on money. Lifes too short. And consider yourself lucky to have people actually putting effort into distributing your porn, you should thank them for having a good taste. For all I know you're just a whore who likes the attention and doesnt know what its like to earn a living, just keep spreading your legs and let the perverts feed your bread and butter. Suck it up". -End Quote [email protected] |

Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they are on GFY |

now that I think of it I believe it was the hosting company that pulled the plug on that one that was on gfy last year, it turned out to be some 17 year old kid living with his parents that saw nothing wrong with setting up a website full of stolen content

i didn't think a site could block the host company's identity. |
i just got a reply back from namecheap and they said they can only provide the customers info and host by court order.
so basically if someone starts a tube site full of stolen content, all they have to do to prevent getting a DMCA from the content owner is use WhoisGuard? |
If there is mainstream content on it, sic the mainstream lawyers on them :2 cents:
|
brought this up with our chief counsel, and she said by not providing contact information for a DMCA, they expose themselves for going right to court, so you can get a court order and then namecheap will have to cough up the info=)

They are wrong, and basically can now be sued by not following DMCA. Once you hit them with a DMCA, they have to investigate, remove, justify or counter with reason for refusal. If they refuse (based on your limited info), that is basically a lawsuit waiting to happen. If I were NC, I would fire my attorney. :2 cents: |
I fully support content theft and banging credit cards... :thumbsup
|
that's some good info guys!
i didn't think it was possible to "guard" your info like that! i can only think of one reason why someone would want to hide their host info... |
Oh man, here we go again. You can send the site DMCA's until you are blue in the face and they can wipe their asses with them. They are hosting the images on an image host like Image Venue, and they are hosting the content on Rapidshare, File Factory, and a number of other file sharing sites. It is not a tube site, so if you want to send a DMCA and get your content removed, send it to the image host and the file sharing site...
