Question about duel Monitors
OK I have a gateway M-Series laptop that clearly can connect to another monitor through the back. I hooked up an extra monitor. What I would like to know how to do now is..
The Monitor to my left, I just bought, an LG 22" widebscreen and I would like to make the laptop just area I drag stuff onto and use it to multi-task with my other, Anyone get what I am saying and might know how to point me in the right direction... |
display settings, identify monitors, extend desktop to this monitor

Hi Houstead,
This is easy to do and fully supported in Windows XP, Vista, etc. Right-Click on your desktop PROPERTIES SETTINGS Click on your new monitor (1 or 2) EXTEND MY WINDOWS DESKTOP TO THIS MONITOR APPLY And that's it! If the monitors are arranged in the wrong way (left is on the right and right is on the left), just drag and drop the left monitor to the right). Enjoy! |
Thanks to whom have given their advice, I will try it shortly and reply here if I hit any bugs...

I'll Duel you in a sword fight ;)
