How can i make a healthy ice cream substitute? similar in texture and taste?
whats your best recipe for vanilla creamy ice cream healthy substitute similar in taste and texture?
|
and you fat fucks wonder why you remain fat. wtf kinda of question is that?
can someone teach me how to make a healthy corn dog? |
fuck icecream, its all about gelato.
|
who says ice cream isn't healthy? I say it is healthier than all the unnaturally no fat and artificial things out there
why are you looking for a substitute? |
Non Fat Frozen Vanilla Yogurt. It is what a lot of the juice bars use. You won't be able to tell the difference.
|
I use vanilla Jello Fat Free Instant pudding mix with fat free milk and some vanilla protein powder to make frozen vanilla pudding. It doesn't have the texture of real ice cream, but it is very sweet, cold and sort of crunchy if you freeze it long enough. I often eat that as my ice cream substitute.

so jello fat free instant pudding... have you tried peanut butter? |
I've had some wonderful soy ice cream before.

frozen yogurt smoothies are somewhat similar to normal ice cream, taste decent too :thumbsup
|
frozen yogurt
|
you still haven't explained why you want a substitute
and to those that are suggesting fat free frozen yogourt, why do you think those are healthier? |
do live cultures die if you freeze them :|

Leave it to the healthier Jim Gunn to recommend something even cooler. Trust him over my choice, I still crave cheeseburgers. In my past life, I ran a juice bar or two, and if you wanted something really healthy, you would substitute frozen banana's and ice for the yogurt or ice cream and end up with a thick milk shake type drink with your protien powder. The pudding idea of Jim's would give you more of ice cream texture. |
cutting the fat out of a meal with hopes of losing weight is misguided, the key is a proper balance of fat carbs and protein....... all the no fat stuff that is loaded with carbs is not the way to go
|
What is so damn unhealthy with heavy cream (or cream, half n half, or even milk), couple eggs (optional), vanilla bean, and a bit of sugar?
If that is just to damn unhealthy for people perhaps they should just not think about ice cream and stick with maybe a sorbet or something. Not super sure how some can rationalize assorted very processed products that are made to taste at least OK, yet fat or sugar free over something strictly natural - being more healthy. |
agree with After Shock Media totally on this
our society is so fucked up by scamming commercial interests pushing a bunch of bullshit on people and convincing them away from real natural foods |
It's not quite the same, but if you can find it, the Atkins Vanilla Shake mix is awesome. Haven't seen it for years. Also, that "We help you poop" mix in chocolate was pretty damn good when blended with half water and half ice cubes, but I know it's been discontinued.

Everything in moderation. Eat your ice cream, just don't eat the whole gallon in one sitting. :thumbsup |

I have been making frozen yogurt using Greek yogurt lately and that is the nearest I have gotten to a frozen yogurt that has a similar creaminess. I am lactose intolerant and can't do milk and cream without paying for it but for some reason Greek yogurt doesn't trigger those symptoms even when made with cows milk.

Ever need something to read, go and get a book called "French women don't get fat" Because they eat everything, but eat it in moderation, It is the constant fucking around with unnatural foods, dieting, not changing your habbits, not learning how to cook, that make people fat. Want to know what every fat person has in common? They are on a diet. Want to know what every person who is on a diet has in common? They are fat. The people giving you advice to buy more processed shit and try and recreate more shit are not doing you any favours. Eat well, Eat often, dont eat processed shit |
fuck it i eat lots of ice cream
