I am mostly against rules, and it is not my place to advise Lens about how to run his board, but I do have a suggestion for a new board rule. If anyone accuses another about lying, scamming, cheating, etc. without posting the proof of said accusation then that person would be subject to being banned from the board. Virtually every day someone is accusing someone else without offering any proof of the accusation that is being made. It is the accusers responsibility to prove the truth of the accusations and is not the person that is being accused responsibility to prove himself innocent of the accusation.

I did not name any individual nor does it apply to any individual, but accusations are made against individuals or businesses almost daily, about one thing or another, and more times than not there is never any factual proof presented. I disregard most of the accusations because anything of a serious nature would not be brought to the board anyhow. It would be brought to a Court. None the less it is not fair to allow people to post any accusation they choose too without a modicum of proof.

I think its an unwritten rule or whatever, because I know I've seen Lens or someone shutting down people making false accusations without proof. So at least someone is doing something about it, whether we might have realized it or not before.

Most usually it involves someone that he personally knows when he does this.

What proof would you have? The sponsor could say you spammed, how do you prove you didn't?

Sometimes there isn't much proof.
Maybe a banning is a bad idea, a better idea is to lock the thread if it looks to be bullshit.

Very simple rule. If you cannot prove what you are saying then don't say it, just live with it.

I've only been fucked by 3 companies but if it happens again I'll share, proof or not.

I admit without the accusations there would not be as much flaming taking place, and being a voyeur can be entertaining. It was just a passing thought on my part and did not expect the rule to be implemented. I bow to the power and lower my head in shame. :)
