I feel you do a great disservice to your brand when you approach affiliate concern with such a lackluster attitude. The anonymity of the user has no bearing on the validity of their argument, and if sparring with concerned individuals is "fun" for you, then I suggest you boost the salaries of your affiliate managers as it will become increasingly hard for them to attract fresh traffic. Food for thought.

PS. For someone who's so concerned about anonymity, it's a bit surprising that neither your avatar or signature has any information about who you are and the company you're affiliated with. Moar food for thought.

Intelligence. I like it and I appreciate it. Now allow me to give my side of the situation. Grant it, it is my side. There is the other side and there is the side that people want to feel is the truth. But i will be willing to go out on the line and say anything that I type here to be the truth. Which is why in the drama thread that anything I posted was not disputed by Ivan, the creator f the thread.

So after all of my spewing, let me address your reply...
If you read the posts you would see that I never approached the situation with a lackluster attitude. If I did, we wouldn't even be engaging in this "conversation." I decided to get involved because I believed there was potential for the situation to get out of hand.

As for anonymity of a user, I have to disagree with you. I think it has an important bearing on the situation. I feel strongly that someone that refuses to acknowledge or identify who they are isn't worth the effort. Let me ask you this, if you were out and were discussing a business proposal with someone would you at least want to know who they are and what they bring to the table?

Sparring for me is not a hobby nor ultimately fun. Look at my post count for some kind of proof. I just figured it was a nice reference to get some kind of reaction. It apparently worked. But I will be flat out honest, as far as I'm concerned the anonymous useless posters are absolute shit in my mind.

Fresh traffic is there. I strongly believe that my stance and approach in the matter was pretty professional and intelligent. Any business that might have been lost, albeit disturbing, was not worth it. If someone felt my posts and attitude were enough to prevent them from promoting our sites then so be it. I was straightforward and honest throughout. So as far as I'm concerned, those "webmasters" were useless.

As for anonymity, I apologize. I thought I was very up front about who I was and how I can be contacted. Do you honestly think if I wanted to be anonymous I would admit to being a Ranger fan?

My Rangers kill me. They never should have made it past game 4 but I was a typical stupid Ranger fan and had hope. It's sad when I can have a small bit of satisfaction knowing my Devil fan friends are miserable also and the Yankees were winning 10 -0.

But I will say that God I live in Canada now. It has mellowed me out alot. I only broke one remote, two game controllers and two glasses all Ranger season. I know it's a problem but unless you are a Ranger fan you'll never understand.

I understand that passions can become inflamed when the issue of payment, or the lack thereof, is at hand. However, I feel that anonymous posters, despite how much I despise their trolling at times, will ask questions that casual posters and lurkers alike want to ask, but for whatever reason they don't. You may want to disregard an argument because of the source, even though an argument from authority should be viewed in the same logical light as an argument from non-authority, but you cannot disregard the fact that if there is one person presenting an argument then there's a great chance that there are countless others who want to do the same and are carefully monitoring the gravity and content of your responses.

I completely understand what you are saying. And I do believe for everyone that makes a comment there are 10's of others they are representing. But when it comes to this board that is most likely overstated. But I could be wrong. Funny thing is, many of the serious posters/detractors won't say anything in this thread while the useless names won't even read it.

If anyone has an issue about what we do or what someone that works for our company does they can always contact me. I've always tried to portray myself as someone that can be contacted. I will say that I might disagree with what someone has to say but I will always listen.

1) Who is Pipecrew and where did he make his comment? He didn't contact me or anyone at our company for all I know. But maybe you might somehow know better. And to top it off, all of our ads use content that we are allowed to use. We do not create or offer content that we are not allowed to use.

2) We do not have facebook site. I went to Tube8 and could not find what you were talking about. I guess I'll play the ignorant card because I only typed in the domain and saw what I saw.

3) I don't know any of the pirate sites. I honestly don't know them. I still buy CD's and lots of them each month. Pass me a list and let me know.
