Yeah, you just have to get in there and fuck around, for hours and hours on end...I tried gimp after using photoshop for years, and it is a total piece of clunky shit.

I recommend the book dummies for photoshop, not joking...what the dummie books do is use parts of other books and give you a condensed easy to read format. What else works are those $5 learning cds sold on ebay.
Most of the tutorials I have seen online will just confuse you if you don't know the basics 1st. It is one of the most powerful programs and even the pros learn new things all the time. |
Trial and error nig.

if you have a college nearby or learning annex you might be able to grab a cheap night class.

Here is how I learned.
Step 1. get picture of juicy Step 2. light doob Step 3. cut out head Step 4. smoke doob Step 5. find pic of tranny Step 6. finish doob Step 7. paste head on tranny Follow these steps and you should come out with terrible chop: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2009-...uicytranny.gif After a few thousand of these you will be ready for more advanced techniques such as putting dirty f's head on a tranny. |
just say you're a designer and get paid in the meanwhile, as many people does around here :thumbsup

That was quality Munki, lmao. :1orglaugh

there are cheap dvd's on ebay that you can get to learn all the basics and some are quite good actually. Just check out what topics they address. Don't get the simple effects ones, but rather something that will explain it all in the way a photoshop book would.

Great Examples guys, but i wanna learn just to use the layout of the software, like where do i go to change this setting, etc. I need the basics. I guess Photoshop for Dummies is my next book purchase.

Start with actually buying a copy of Adobe photoshop instead of using a cracked version. Yes it really does help.
